You can help the “No Child Left Inside” movement become reality - apply now to attend the 2009 Earth Mentor Program - Our outdoor instructor course. Or spend 9 months immersed in wilderness survival skills, naturalist skills and more within a supportive community - apply to the 2009-2010 Residential Program - 9-month wilderness course. Or spend 10 weekends throughout the year gaining in-depth training in the art and science of tracking through the 2009-2010 Wildlife Tracking Intensive.

Your children need contact with nature!

A growing body of research demonstrates that "children are smarter, more cooperative, happier and healthier" when they have frequent opportunities for play in the outdoors, according to the Children & Nature Network. Our School-year Youth Programs help get kids playing in the woods again (while secretly learning from nature at the same time, with the guidance of our mentors).
