Wilderness Awareness Monthly Courses
Through
creative play and exploration, Monthly Course participants ages 6-12 work
together in small groups gaining nature awareness and knowledge of plants,
mammals, tracking, birds, and survival.
Our instructors guide students into experiences that nurture their connection to the earth and allow them to feel at home in the natural world.
Class size is limited to 10 students per instructor at Priest Point Park (Olympia), Cougar Mountain Park (Issaquah), St. Edward State Park (Kirkland), Tolt-MacDonald Park (Carnation), and Seward Park (Seattle). Participants are divided into groups by age, each with a lead instructor.

Times The course meets from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. one Friday or Saturday a month at locations and dates listed below.
Schedule Monthly Courses run 5-7 sessions total throughout the year, see Class Times below.

Please Note Because of the ever-changing nature of medical and other requested
information, we require that a new form be completed for each course
your child attends, prior to enrollment in that course for the year.

Tuition
Monthly courses tuition is $245 - $345 for the year. A non-refundable deposit of $50 (for the 5 session programs) or $100 (for the 7-session programs) is required to hold a place in the course. Please see our payment and refund policies for more information.
